Waste off-the-road (OTR) tires recycling has been a problem in the world for a long time. The key issues are because of the too big size, and big weight of a single giant OTR tyre. Especially, for the size of 59/80R63, it’s weight up to 4.5 tons per tyre. The thickness of its tyre crown is over 300mm. It brings an invincible challenge for dual shaft shredder.

However, it’s rubber quality is very good. And it must be recycled because it is not allowed to be buried under ground.

After many years research and experiments, TopsRecycling has successfully designed and manufactured a very economical solutions to recycle end-of-life off-the-road (OTR) tires efficiently. We have already manufactured dozens of those machines and supplied to Chinese Waste OTR Tire Recyclers in China, they are mainly located in the north part of China, Inner Mongonia, and Pingyao County in Shangxi Province.

By our technology, the OTR tyres are cutting into rubber chips by simple three steps as below:

Step 1: Cut the waste OTR tyre into three portions (Two pieces of tyre sides, and one piece of center portion) by OTR TYRE SIDE WALL CUTTER

Step 2: Cut the waste OTR tyre sides into rubber chips by strip cutter & block cutter

Step 3: Cut the waste OTR Tyre crown into rubber chips by strip cutter & block cutter

The whole process doesn’t need shredder to be involved, so the machine investment, running cost, and maintenance cost are much lower than Western technology. Especially, the working efficiency is very high, and the maintenance cost is low.

If you want to further reduce the size of rubber chips into rubber mulch or crumb rubber, our cracker mill plant will give you these outputs. Or you can also choose rasper, rubber granulator, and rubber grinding mill as per the application of the final products.
